These were spoiled and tasted awful upon arrival. I threw them out immediately and didn't even bother trying to get a refund. Lesson learned.
Sugar Cane Skewers

This item arrived on time and was what I wanted. I cooked a recipe that called for sugar cane skewers. I was able to split the sugar cane sticks down the middle with a 8 inch chefs knife so i ended up with twice as much skewers per pack. I found nothing wrong with this product and would buy it again.
I did not notice any bad smell.

Used these for mojitos and they pair perfectly together! They do not have much flavor by themselves but really enhance the drink. I did not notice any bad smell.

Horrible and gross! Sour, and bitter, and not fresh! Probably why it tastes so bad. My daughter wanted me to order them because she missed the sugar cane we had in Costa Rica. Don't waste your $.
Packaging leaves much to be desired, freshness is questionable...

I purchased these for a mojito gift basket but will not be using them. They look really unappealing in their current package, which is a vacuum packed bag and the swizzle sticks sitting in liquid. There are no details on the package, no product description, "use by" date, or even the name of the product. There is also a sticker of some sort mostly scratched off with sticker glue left all over the packaging. The swizzle sticks don't look very fresh or appetizing and I would not give these as a gift. I am very disappointed in this purchase.
