Doesn't fit smaller diameter oars
Jonster Monster✓ Verified Purchase•November 5, 2023
I only gave these 4 of 5 stars not because there is anything wrong with them, but because they are advertised as fitting smaller diameter oars and they do not. I had to cut up a tractor inner tube and wrap it another oar to get it to grip snugly. Other than that they are just fine and seem to be of good quality.
Economy Oarlocks

Have been using these daily on my rowing tender for over a month in saltwater. They're simple, utilitarian, and work fine. Not pretty, but unlike a nice set of stainless oarlocks, I don't worry about leaving them at a public dinghy dock. The included nuts are nylocks, giving you the option of leaving them a bit loose so you can feather your oars as you row to the windward without rattling the hardware off. They're zinc plated carbon steel, and the zinc will wear off the pins quickly and rust. I wipe them down with a bit of thin oil every now and again so they don't get stiff, do that and they should remain serviceable for a long time. If you want to use these with the Shoreline Marine oars, you'll have to wrap the oars in some small cord or leather for fit, as well as to protect the oars from abrasion.
smaller than I thought

a bit smaller than I thought they would be although can be improved with longer bolts and lock nuts to fit larger aluminum boat oars.
Be careful what oar size you have!

I had to give stars to present this review. Does NOT fit Propel Paddle Gear 72" Aluminum Oar as indicated by "frequently bought with"; the oar shaft is 1 1/4. But the quality of it seems good if it is purchased for the correct oar shaft size.
Good oar lock

Good oar locks. Pin seemed marginally large diameter for my boat sockets. This was quick and easy to fix on the sander.
