I sent this as a gift to a friend in another state. It was on her wish list so that was wonderful. Just purchased and shipped right to her. She loved it and has been raving about it. Even sent me a picture of it on her desk and told me she bought one for all her employees.

This used to be a fun product. I bought one for myself and one for my parents. They were on Windows and use Macs. We were both able to load the drivers at that time and upload our photos. I believe I ended up downloading a driver from the internet at the time, something that is no longer available now.

It was a great product at that time and we both enjoyed our own slide shows.

But many years have passed. Like TEN years which is like a century in computer years.

For you Mac users, don't bother with this. You'll never find a driver to work with the current mac OS or even one close to it. This was released prior to 10.5 and you know what that means. If you're running Yosemite forget it.

My slide show still works if I plug it in to power it but no longer works, not even with new batteries. So I can still run it using the cord.

So if you're buying this new, like in 2015 DON'T DO IT. This is old technology and you won't be able to load the drivers to upload your photos.

I really wish someone would release an updated version, maybe small enough to actually hang on a tree as this is bigger than a softball.

It was really fun while it lasted but I have to give it one star now because it's old and there is no updated driver or software for it.

For you Windows users, your mileage may vary.

The item arrived in very good condition and was delivered on time (which was appreciated as it was a planned Christmas gift); however, nowhere in the online description did the product mention that it was only compatible on Windows. It was not until I opened it (to attempt to preload pictures) that I learned this. After tracking down a friend's computer with Windows, I thought my problems were over, however, the item would not allow me to load and save any pictures, and when I called customer service, they were not able to assist in any way. I would make the technical requires for the product more clear to avoid disappointed buyers.

I bought one for each grandchild. I downloaded pictures of them with their grandfather after he passed away. It was very easy to download the pictures. The grandkids enjoy being able to see themselved with grandpa anytime they want. It comes with a stand or you can hang on the Christmas tree.

Very cute idea, we finally were able to make it work but very difficult. It took two computer geeks to make it happen.
