I was amazed they worked so well. These are about 8 inches long with a half-inch rubber pad on which to put furniture legs. They are flexible/thin plastic. I did not expect them to work. I WAS AMAZED. I had to push a VERY HEAVY A/V cabinet over carpet--- would have been impossible without these. They cost more than others. Maybe others would work, but THESE DID WORK.

Worked fairly well except kept sliding out from under furniture. Certainly better than the "as seen on TV" of same brand and better than nothing.
Problem is getting them under furniture to start with and keeping them there.
IMO, perhaps put them under furniture a few DAYS before trying to move furniture do a better "bond" with the pad can be established THEN move furniture.

This is my second set of slides. I use them for everything. Daily use them under a Lazy Boy recliner in my bedroom to slide it out to watch TV and then slide it back to get it out of the way. Very easy to do. True story - I dug out an enormous rock in my yard last spring while making a new flower bed and hoisted each corner of the rock onto a slide and then just pushed it with my feet to the back of the wall where it still rests today.

This product works exactly as described, and it actually is much better than I ever could expect!
I use a wheelchair and my wife has rheumatoid arthritis. We used these furniture slides to move a big heavy armoire by placing these sliders underneath the legs and truly just sliding the whole thing from carpeted floor through to flat floor back to carpeted with NO PROBLEM. It really went over different edges without a problem!
From my experience these furniture sliders not only would work extremely well but they are also worth every penny you spend on them. I highly recommend you just go to YouTube and type "EZ Moves II Furniture Slides" and watch the video.
