Got a dog??? Never run out of ping pong balls again!
Pearlman✓ Verified Purchase•July 31, 2023
We are a friendly family, with a great dog - Sophie. She is so well behaved, Cesar Milan (the Dog Whisperer) would be proud. But, Sophie has a fetish - she loves to eat ping pong balls. She actually watches the ball like a tennis spectator. Her head follows the ball - back and forth, back and forth. And, like Pavlov's dog, you can actually see a bit of saliva around her mouth as she anticpates the moment that the ball will fly off the table and she can pounce. Ah, but we've gotten smart. We ordered a large enough quantity of these balls that allows us to keep the game going while Sophie enjoys the latest victim. Now, we are a friendly and really happy family.
good value

When will I next run out of ping-pong balls? I don't know, but it will be quite a long time. :)
These bright orange 3-star balls are consistent and high-quality, and the 144-pack is a good value.
Beyond that, I challenge you not to smile when looking at your very own densely packed cubic foot of round, happy, orange ping-pong balls. You just can't do it.

These Gogo logo 3-star balls are a really good value at USD$29.99. I noticed the price changes from time to time so YMMV. I've not tested all of the balls in the 144-count box, but based on my experience with the white 3-star Gogo logo balls, these will be fine. There have not been any instances of off-balanced spin, weight or any other quality control problems from what I have seen so far. I will have no problem buying this product again for $30 when the time comes. $10 seems to be slightly steep for such a light shipment, but I'm quite happy with my purchase.
Edit: I've had a chance to test durability by singling out some balls at random, and testing them until failure. There have been a few premature catastrophic failures on the seams. They definitely are not anywhere near as reliable as the Nittaku Premium 3-star balls, nor the DHS 3-star balls, but are still a good value for practice balls. I had to take off 1 star on the review for this reason. The price has also gone up by a whopping 20% since my purchase. My opinion is that these balls are very round, but the seams are not consistently made. Some seams are great, while others have a slight dent along the seams, which you can feel if you run a fingernail over it (parallel with the seam).
Note that there is a powdery substance on the balls upon arrival and it should be washed off before use, in my opinion. This is because the balls will coat your paddle rubber with a fine dust if you don't.

Love them.

I'm not a shill. I just love playing ping-pong with my son, and we go at it hard, and have done so for years. I have a $100+ paddle. So, I'm sure we're not tournament-grade players, but we're not beginners, either.
We've purchased and used an number of brands of 3-star 40mm balls over the years. These are the best, just based on my subjective opinion of how well and predictably we can play with them. And I could not *believe* the deal. 144 balls for ~$45 including shipping.
Again, I'm not a shill. I know real tournaments use different (plastic) balls now (which I understand everyone hates), so you can't use these. But we're having a great time with them at home.

I'd buy them again...if I ever run out!

I'm not a ping pong expert, but they seem just as good as any other 3 star ball I've used in the past. I haven't heard any complaints from my friends either.
