Very Practical

This umbrella lasted me three years. But then I carelessly forgot it in a restaurant and someone pinched it. I re-purchased it because it's the best umbrella I've ever owned. It's small enough to fit in my backpack but spans a wide area when being used.. I also love the wind resistance. If the winds are strong enough it will become upturned. However, it recovers quickly and, more importantly, the fabric doesn't rip and it doesn't break. The automatic open and close is very convenient for getting into cars and boarding trains. I've used it in rain and even during a blizzard. I love it.
Great size and easy to use

Great size, seems sturdy, easy to open and close.
Just wish clip was actually on the unbrella rather than the cover which is hard to put on, so I don't.

Working well so far

I really have never used umbrellas. Never saw much of a need, if I got wet, I got wet. But lately we've had record rainfall and it's been getting annoying, especially since I shave my head, and it's still in the 30's here in Wisconsin. That gets COLD very quick.
I wanted an automatic, since I preferred to just be able to crack the car door open, shove my arm out, and hit a button to open it up, and keep the interior of my car (and my head) from getting drenched as I got out of the car. Since it would sit in the car, needed to be pretty portable as well, so this one fit my criteria. I've never had an umbrella that turned inside out from the wind, but I've seen it happen to enough people that I hoped the design of this one, supposedly engineered to help prevent that to some degree, would keep it from happening to me.
It arrived quickly. The handle's pretty comfortable, the auto open works VERY well. Push the button and SNAP! It's open and extended. The "auto close" feature is a serious misnomer though. It's an "auto-kind of collapse the top loosely" button. It doesn't close, it just brings the umbrella back into a mostly collapsed at the end loose bundle. The downside to that is there's a surprisingly strong spring inside there that makes it extend, so you have to work to get that collapsed again. The way the spines fold make it pretty rickety when they're in that folded up state, so I don't feel very comfortable just grabbing the whole contraption around the outside and pulling it down, so I just get my palm over the very end of the shaft, and push it back down to the handle.
The cover for it really could've been a little bigger, or open rather than being sewn closed with just the slight split in the end, since this doesn't consistently fold up and wrap up again into a nice small bundle that's easy to get back into the case. That's a minor annoyance though since I got it to keep me dry, and lately it's been doing just that. I don't even put it in the case or roll it shut and secure it with the velcro strap, it's easiest to just push the shaft back down and drop it behind the passenger seat on my car to dry and for storage. Out of the way, easy to grab.
All in all, it's a nice umbrella, and is a good enough size that even someone my size (over 6' 1") can stay relatively dry.

While folded this item is compact but opens up to almost a golf umbrella size. But I love the button for opening and closing. I have carpal tunnel so it really helps.
Very Nice

This is a very nice umbrella. Nice sized and seemingly well made.
The quality seems to be there. I haven't used it in wind or rain yet so can't judge how it stands up to the wind.
My guess is pretty well if you use good judgment and don't take it in a major blow.
Caution: You don't want to open this near anyone's face, near children, in a car, or while it is between the car and the car door, as it really pops open fast, has a strong spring and could hurt someone especially if the points get near eyes, ears etc. Hold up and away from people and things. It opens with a most satisfying "Whoomph".
It auto collapses nicely. The Canopy collapses but you still need to push the handle up into the umbrella. Not a big deal.
When after pressing the handle back into the umbrella shrouds, be sure to hold the shrouds carefully in case you should open the umbrella accidentally while strapping it shut and putting it in the case. It is possible to strap the shrouds together before sliding the handle up into the chute avoiding that little risk.
I would definitely recommend this. A nice item. Not disappointing used safely.
