Beautifully painted and easy to assemble! Placed in our beach house next to a canoe bookshelf of children's classics for our seasonal renters. Expect this addition to be a hit with our younger renters. Love it!

We received this in sometime last week and finally had a chance to get it together last night. I depend on my poor husband for all things installable, technical or needing to be put together and this was just the same. It actually seemed to go together quite easily. He started while I was getting our little one ready for bed and was almost done when we got there. Of course, she joined in at that point and tends to slow things down with her "help". We had a rocking chair for her already, but came across this one and could not get over how much it went with some of our other items, and as usual, my husband convinced me she needed this one too. Absolutely love the designs of all the little animals, but especially the monkey that you focus on as soon as you see it and she has a clock that goes with it as well, so yeah, maybe I did NEED to order it. Very well made, sturdy which is a really good thing with our girl. The part that I totally loved though once he got it together, was the size that I noticed difference in this rocking chair. I thought this was your regular little bitty chair for little bitty ones, but it is quite a bit bigger. I am not good with numbers or measurements, the best I can say is it is not like a baby or toddler size, but more of a little kid size so she will have room to grow. I so LOVE IT! I did receive a discount on this purchase and chose to review since I rely so heavily on customer thoughts myself.

The rocking chair came really well packaged. I almost had a heart attack when I saw how big the box was! I thought maybe there was a mix up on my order or something. However, they just took a lot of care, making sure that it could be shipped as safely as possible. Surprisingly, there wasn't a lot of packing material waste either.

Once I had everything unpacked, and accounted for, the chair was pretty simple to put together. About 15 minutes and I was finished. There are very clear, illustrated directions, and everything is labeled. The only tool you need is an allen wrench, and it's included for you. My nephew even helped tighten the screws. He really likes the chair. He feels really grown up reading in it. It's pretty cute. Now he wants the Dinosaur rocking chair for his bedroom at Nana's house.

Overall, my nephew and I are really pleased with his Happy Farm Rocking Chair by Fantasy Fields. It's a quality, sturdy, durable, piece of furniture that he will own for years to come. Once he outgrows it, I plan to hold on to it for when he's older. I hope it becomes something that has such good memories attached to it. That he will want to hold on to it, and use it for his own children, if he has them. It's a lot of responsibility for a rocking chair, but I think this one can handle it.

Though I did purchase this at a promotional price so I could test and review the product, this review reflects my unbiased opinions and thoughts. I do actually test the product and write the review accordingly. It receives the rating it deserves. I hope this assists others in their purchasing decisions. I also rely heavily on Amazon reviews when making my own purchases.

This is just the cutest rocking chair!!

It comes partially assembled in 7 pieces:
Two rocking legs
One Cross bar support
One Seat
Two Arms
One Back

It comes with all Screws, Washers and an Allen Wrench as well as assembly instructions. Assembly time took me 15 minutes.

To assemble:
1) Start with the Two Rocking legs. The longer part of the Rocking legs should be facing towards the back. 2)Connect them to the cross bar support. 3)Next you place the seat on top of the Rocking legs but it will not be screwed in yet. Make sure the straight edge is facing towards the front of the chair 4) Now you work on the top half. Connect the Two Arms of the chair to the Back support. Make sure the curve of the Arms curve outward. 5) Now place the poles from the back and arm rests into the 4 indentations on the seat of the chair. You will screw these in from the underside. Set up is complete. All the screws will have a smaller washer and then the larger washer slid on before being tightened into the wood. I personally like to get them all set up this way before assembly so I can just grab them and screw them in as needed. The chair itself is made entirely of wood (well, minus the screws and washers that is). It is extreamly well crafted and very solid. The colors are bright and cheerful.

My son is just loving his new rocking chair. He is a huge animal lover and is having fun pointing out all the animals and saying their names to me. He has been just thrilled to have his own special chair in the house too! My 9 year old son loves this chair too! He can sit in it comfortably and steals it from his little brother whenever he gets the chance! This rocking chair is definitely a great investment and will grow with your child for some years to come!
