These plates are not the plastic plates you buy in stores. They are less sturdy than a paper plate. The package opened with shards of plastic and picking up a plate means breaking off a piece of it.

These plates were so thin and brittle that they fell apart when taking them out of the pack. I bought them for my wedding and as we were setting up the reception, I found this out. Needed to send someone to the store to get 100 replacement plates ASAP. I saw great reviews so I bought them, please do not be fooled. They would not be worth it if they were giving them away for free.
