Great Pectin!
Hollister Bulldawg✓ Verified Purchase•July 23, 2016
I was looking for a source for this pectin as it is scarce on the West Coast. This is the cheapest I have seen it offered in 10 years! I ordered 24 boxes as a test and it is the stuff I need. Expiration date in 3 years (March 23, 2019). I will be ordering much, much more.
Fresher product

I can get fresher dated Sure Jell off Amazon than I can get at either Wal-Mart or Safeway. Amazon must have an amazing turnover.
I love MCP pectin

I love MCP pectin. I have used it for years, and it is hard to find in the stores. I like it because it is one of the only ones that has a no-cook method which i like. I noticed the picture is the same as Sure-Jell and that it now has that it is a product of the makers of sure jell.
Something happened along the way.

I was supposed to get 8 boxes but only got 4. Remember showing it to my wife and bragging about how much money I was saving. Although still cheaper as a 4 pack then the grocery store, no where's near the savings it said I was to get. Somehow during the order process it switched to the 4 pack for the same price. Shame on me for not paying attention. If you read other comments, it seems I'm not the only one that got the bait and switch. Kind of disappointing.
Works Perfectly for my Jams and Jellies
June Bug✓ Verified Purchase•August 24, 2014
I use this to make my hot pepper jam with. I was new at making jellies/jams last summer, but it was quite easily done and had no problems with them brand at all. I added a teaspoon of vegetable oil to keep it from foaming (online tip I found) and didn't make any jam without doing this, so I don't know if it would foam if I didn't. It didn't change the taste of the jellies or jams at all.
