Cheap. Effective. Many used. Bought it to protect and clean the barbell in my home gym, works great. Soon after having a baby, have used it to oil every creaky hinge or sticky lock in the house. Works great. It's thin so it really gets in there. I like to use it with lint-free microfiber rags--I'll get some oil onto the surface, so the rag to catch the excess, then run the oil in with the rag. Cleans rust off well, too. Hinges on our 100-year-old house have never been quieter or worked better

This oil helps you solve problems around your home and car. In my case, I had some squeaky doors and this product was the perfect treatment to make them silent, reduce friction, and do it easily. It's not too smelly and is easy to manage for anyone to lubricate any surfaces around the home. I'm proud to have 3-In-One oil on my shelf in the garage.

I'm not really a connoisseur of household oils. However, this brand (3-IN-ONE) has been around for decades and it certainly took care of the hinges on my front door that squeaked like a haunted house. It's a good item to stick in your tool bag (yes, I have one - it's pink!) or store in your utility drawer. The only thing that put me off, really, was the odor. I would suggest that you might want to wear some disposable gloves when working with it or else you'll be smelling like a car engine for several hours!

The question really is, what doesn't this oil work on? My husband's bike chain was being weird and kind of rusting. We used this oil on it and it is working perfectly now. The closet door screeching in the middle of the night? Few dabs of this 3 in 1 oil does the trick.

The oil is a little thin, but I solved that by putting it on a cotton tip swab. A little really does go a long way. My refrigerator door was making an awful noise every time I opened it. I poured a bit of this oil on the trusty swab and wiped the hinges of the door. No more noise. My sewing machine needed a bit of oiling, so I used this and it worked like a charm. I make little creatures to sell at craft shows so I need my sewing machine to work in perfect condition!

This is one of those "always keep in the house for basically everything" kind of items. If something is sticking, this multipurpose oil will unstick it. I think my favorite part about this oil is it is not a spray. With sprays I always worry if I'm getting all the oil in the right place, or if I'm getting too much all over the place. This oil lets me control the precise amount I want to use and not worry about spraying myself in the face.

I've used this on all sorts of things around the house. The screw on the table was stuck and wouldn't come undone so I could fix it into place. It's an old table, old screws and so on. I used my cotton swab and rubbed it all around the edges, let it sink in and then the screw came out with no problems. I love this stuff!

I used this product to fix my squeaky door hinge, my squeaky swivel chair, and clean my bicycle's aluminum frame that had built up chain grease and grime - all with perfect success! I couldn't believe how fast the door hinge became silent with not much oil - it was like magic! There is a low, chemical odor that I didn't smell until after using it for awhile and then the smell disappeared as soon as I put the cap back on and walked away. My bike is clean, and my chair swivels silently as well! YAY! The oil easily wiped off my hands with a wet wipe. I highly recommend this product!
