I wasn't blown away by this bouillon. I added twice as much as recommended and my broth still had little flavor. However it was the only vegan option I could find which was important as I was making soup for my vegan cousin after her surgery. I probably wont be buying this again.

Expensive. I have tried to make my own using internet recipes, however nothing comes close to the flavor. Careful if you cook all the water out of your beans this product burns quickly so it bears close watching. Adding some butter or margarine seems to mitigate somewhat.
Impossible to Find Lower Sodium, Quality Bouillon

Adds a lot of nice flavor with a FRACTION of the sodium in most bouillon. The cubes are, as others noted, sort of mushy and you kind of have to scrape them off the wrapper. Also, the broth is a bit oily, which you'd probably only notice if you were drinking it rather than cooking with it. Overall, I'm quite happy - nice product and great price.

I love this bouillon. I always feel that some of my instant no salt soups lack depth, and this is a perfect additive. It's wonderful in the Nile Pea Soup, along with a little fresh ground black pepper. I love this alone-I just pour boiling water over, and let it steep in my covered cup. A favourite lunch is cabbage soup made with this and any freeze-dried herbs of my choosing, along with a green or mixed green sandwich with either cheese or fresh sliced mushrooms, and topped with my homemade salad dressing. YUM!

This is my go-to for adding flavor to soups, stews, sauces, and rice. I like that there is no added salt, so I can add more (or not) if I need to. I find most pre-salted bouillon cubes to be too salty, so this no-salt feature is nice. I do find that the cubes get a bit soft in warm weather, so I store mine in the freezer.
