Good, healthy and easy to carry

Nature Valley Granola Bars, Sweet and Salty Nut, Cashew, 6 Bars - 1.2 ozIf you like cashews, you will probably like these, or, at least, I do. They are low in sugar and use whole grains, so they are healthy. But, above all, they are good!
Not a Total Win for Me

I liked the chewiness of these bars, but the under-icing leaves an sight aftertaste, especially when I have one for dessert. Maybe following it with something to "cleanse my palate" would make it a tastier treat. Not bad, just not a total winner.

After i bought these and received them my girlfriend pointed out that they were not the peanut ones i normally get her and i felt stupid. I guess that is what i get for looking at the picture and assuming i got the right ones. I normally buy these at the store but i decided to buy here. Even thought i got the cashew instead they were still good and tasty for a snack but i did however not like them near as much as the peanut ones that i normally buy. Either way this item still deserves 5 stars because it is worth it but i will make sure to buy the peanut flavor next time around i guess.
A slightly better option than the candy bars they replace

The only appropriate word for these is evil. Yes, evil. They taste as good as any non-chocolate candy bar, and so it is quite simple to eat more than one. I have learned to eat these only when away from home and to only pack one at a time. The flavor is sweet & buttery cashew. The texture is firmer than most other 'soft' or 'chewy' granola bars I have tasted. I use these as an indulgent substitute for candy bars - as a snack or dessert. They are a delight.

These have a good flavor but it could be better. I was expecting more cashews and the thin halves didn't do it for me. My three children gobbled these up and I was lucky to get one before they were gone completely. The bottom is a cashew butter taste and the top is the regular nature valley bar with the nuts on top. I didn't like the higher calorie count either at 160 calories a bar even though these are large bars. If the kids didn't eat but one I'm afraid I may have had two!!! My only problem is that it tasted like a downgraded white chocolate yogurt bar and my mouth wanted a more powerful stronger taste.
