razor blade, shaving, Schick

Best ever shaving blade, though rare to find in most stores. The single edge cleans better than the clogged razor edges in triple edge shaving razors. One cautious swipe and beard is gone. Much like a "straight razor" effectiveness. The single edge accommodates shave cream & hair residual in larger chunk, easy to clean under faucet. Do not use in a hurry, but gets the job done quicker because one stroke of this blade takes all beard off. You will need the original instrument to hold each of these blades. Also, the Schick Injector dispenser has a slot for used blades.

I have used these blades and the Schick razor exclusively for over 60 years, and am very pleased that they are still being made and are available through Amazon. The simplicity and reliability of the basic Schick razor with these blades can't be beat by any of the newer high tech alternatives.
Like shaving again for the first time lol

I learned to shave back in the 70's with the Schick Injector razor, and waxing nostalgic I went back to them. Got a vintage razor/handle on eBay as I've heard the current reproduction handles are not so good, and then got these blades. They work well still, are inexpensive, and don't shave quite as closely as the new multiple blades which is what i wanted. I have fewer breakouts this way.
These blades give me the best shave I've ever had

These blades give me the best shave I've ever had.
A few years ago I bought an old butterscotch handled Schick razor at a local antique store. I paid $2 for the razor. Cleaned it up and bought some of these blades.
I get a shave that is close and comfortable, and for a lot less money than the popular multi-blade (and expensive) razors. Make sure you do a good prep prior to shaving (hot shower works for me) and take your time. It's the closest thing to a straight razor shave you can get.
From my experience, I highly recommend these blades.

why did YOU switch to multi blade razors? Do you REALLY like them?

I remember switching to double blade razors and then triple and than quadruple and NOW quintuple blade razors.......................
and I began to wonder when it was I started resenting dropping $50 for razor cartridge heads....................
Now I remember I used single injectors because they shaved closer than electric razors and didn't chew my face off like electric razors (electric razors make a callous you know, on your FACE)
So I bought these and a LNIB Schick injector handle on ebay...........and I'm getting a GOOD clean, close shave again
