My daughter has been using the compass for about a month and the part that holds the pencil broke right away. She just wraps it with rubber bands, but it still moves a little. If it weren't for that, I would have given five stars. It's solid otherwise.

It works great! I just thought it was purple from the package, so I was disappointed when it came in the mail and it wasn't. I probably would have bought the cheaper ones that are being sold if I knew it wasn't purple (I am aware it doesn't say it's purple in the description), but I took a chance on it.
