Doesn't look quite real enough but we use it anyway. You could actually buy a real one at Lowe's cheaper and use it for the same purpose.
Glue to the bottom of a REAL stone (or Paver stone)
Marcus Young•April 19, 2016
Although something similar can be made at home, I like that this is hard plastic and can easily blend in with surroundings. I personally don't have an in-ground sprinkler system so it won't be fooling many. On the other hand, no one should even be looking. What i plan to do is glue a real rock from my backyard or a paver stone to the lid and hide the key that way. The likely hood of anyone even thinking to look there is slim and because there are so many, it would take them forever to find it. Just one idea I don't mind sharing.
Works great!

This works great, easy to install and does not allow moister. When researching I saw other updates stating just go to a Home Depot and get a real one and hollow it out, but if you are like me and not mechanical at all and want somethings quick that does the job, I definitely recommend this, it too me two minutes to install and unless you know what you are looking for, no one can tell the difference.
Functional but easy to spot if not placed carefully.

It is just a molded plastic that resembles a sprinkler head. Most sprinkler systems have color coded tops that tell the distance. A good burglar would know this is an extra key holder. However if put in a planter box and hidden really well with brush this will work nice. I will use it but be careful where I put it. It is kind of like that "key rock" you see everywhere. You can spot them a mile away if it isn't disguised well. It was cheap enough to check it out though.
Looked too fake.

I took a real sprinkler, added pebbles to the bottom and put the key on top of the pebbles so it's not all the way in the bottom. Dug a hole for the sprinkler and inserted. Looks like all the others now and doesn't have this fake looking top.
