Seem pretty sturdy but the sizing is off. I am 5'10 165lbs and the regular/large fit length wise but the thigh area is too tight to wear with pants beneath.

I found the lower part of the chaps unnecessarily wide but maybe this is because I wore them over snake boots to begin with. The panel design is unique and effective. Upper material is extremely thin but does provide a waterproof cover when walking in high grass & ferns. Not a bad purchase for the price. Economical protection.
