I was looking for plush, thick nap mats for my kids since these will be on the floor without any additional padding at naptime. My daughter chose the Rainbow Hearts design, and I picked the Big Fish pattern for my son since he's still a baby. They are nice and cushioned (comparatively speaking), and my daughter insisted on spending the night in hers. The fabric feels a little stiff, but I'm sure a few washes in they will be softer. I like that you can remove the pillow for washing, and I love the Velcro straps that keep it closed once you roll it up. The strap handle will be helpful for transporting. I don't like that the cover ends a little before the bottom, but baby boy won't have to worry about that for a long time and big girl is a foot-outside-the-covers sleeper anyway. The cover is not as thick as the base, but it's still batted enough to provide warmth on the cold floor in the winter. Very good purchase, and I look forward to using them until they wear out.

Very pretty. Material isn't as soft as I would like it to be for a nap mat. Also need to wash in industrial sized washer which is inconvenient. My 4 year old daughter loves it though. She doesn't like to sleep in sleeping bags because she gets hot. With this she can use the blanket if she wants or at least stick her leg out.

Beautiful! 2 year old loves it. When it comes to nap mats or bed rolls none of them are going to be ultra padded. If you want 2 or 3 in thick make it yourself. But don't expect to be able to roll it up berry easily.

Great. Wish the mat was actually a little thicker of a foam. You can't exactly lay this down directly onto a hard floor. Thankfully my daughter only uses it for daycare which they out one of their mats underneath anyway for more comfort. Other that, excellent fabric, can't beat machine washable. Just be sure to remove to pillow before washing the mat because pillow will get lumpy like any other pillow filled with badding.
Must buy for nap-time !

My now 4 year old has used this since she was 2 for nap time at her pre-school. That means it has withheld over 120 washes and I just throw it in the dryer (I remove the pillow). Of course the color has faded but the quality has not. The only complaint would be that the velcro straps never really held it together but that isn't an issue for us. Can use an elastic band or just carry. I want to buy another one but think this will last another year without any issues.
