"New" apparently means "Used"

The plastic case was damaged when it arrived. There are visible gashes on the front and back of the case, and one of the hinges is cracked. The item itself is sturdy, but clearly not new. It has dust inside the case and clear signs of use.
I am unpleasantly surprised. I have always supported and used Staedtler products ever since I was a child. They have rarely disappointed. However, I was expecting a new product, but received a used one. I would not recommend this product to any of my colleagues or friends.

Extremely well made, the precision and quality of this instrument makes it fun and easy to use. We have less and less time to do our work anymore, and this compass obliges by being quick and easy to set up.

It's really is the best option if u r tired of me sing up your circles with over pressure, as this one has a central screw system that keeps it locked until you twist. Great compass. Will not need another for a long time and if I do I'll be.coming back here to get it again.
