other people may love it. There nothing wrong with it

It was delivered in time as expected, but compared to other cod liver at Amazon this seemed not as tasty to my taste. But it is subjective, other people may love it. There nothing wrong with it.
King Oscar, what have you done?
Long-term Review GuyOctober 20, 2017
I'm a big fan of King Oscar products- I buy their brisling sardines of various flavors. unfortunately I can't recommend this. Saltier and less liver per can than Officers and another brand (starts w/ R?). Although they included whole peppercorns you can't really taste it. With so much oil in it you're going to run out of liver and try to figure out what to do with all that oil.
Euwww, must be an acquired taste

I'm a guy who loves food and loves trying new things. I absolutely love Oyster Stew, Clam Chowder, Sardines, Kipper Snacks, Smoked Oysters... ...Well, you get the idea. I was looking for different kinds of canned food on Amazon and saw these King Oscar Natural Cod Liver, 6.7 Ounce cans. I read the reviews, looked at the ratings, mostly looked good, so I purchased the six can pack. I first tried them fresh out of the can, made a Cod Liver salad with Pickled Egg, and the normal mayo and other seasonings, was just ok. They were fresh without a strong smell, good clear oil they were packed in. I just couldn't get past the texture, just too "raw feeling", even though they are cooked during the canning process. Next time I cooked up Cod Fillets with Cod Livers, seasoned with Cajun seasoning, they did not get to the texture of Chicken or Beef Livers, nor did they taste like any Liver I've ever had. Not for me, throwing the other 4 cans, will not buy again.
which is all good! Changing to 5 star

Sorry, the last time i gave a wrong review on cod liver can, there is big sticker says the produce date( packed in 2014) which was just an example of how to read european dd/mm/yy , which i thought was original date, so i freaked out to see that old product lol, but original stamp says it was packed in 2016, which is all good! Changing to 5 star now
better than any fish oils pills out there.
