Problem with design
John✓ Verified PurchaseMay 14, 2018
No issues with this seller. I got exactly what I was told. My problem is with the design. I love everything about it except the drain. The drain pops out every few seconds. I cant tell you how much water I have spilled. It just pushes into place instead of screwing in. The pressure of the water draining is enough to knock it loose. Duct tape didnt even fix this problem.
Unsafe, cheap, many issues.

This product is unsafe for anyone's children. It cannot even be used for its intended purpose. It is of low quality and obviously not "made in Italy" as another reviewer mistakenly implied.

The tub doesn't fit on the top after assembly, which makes this item useless. Even if it did, the tub is not secured in any way to the frame besides friction and will pop off with the slightest effort. The tub itself is made of cheap and flimsy thin plastic, which already started to warp and crack during assembly. See the first photo attached - would you trust the safety of your child to this infernal contraption?

Imagine putting your baby and a heavy tub full of water on the top, only to have him or her crash down four feet onto your floor because of this shoddy and poorly designed item.

I spent two hours on the floor as a pregnant woman putting this together and it can't even be used for the purpose that it was purchased for. Assembly instructions were unclear, holes and screws do not line up and vital structural parts are made of cheap plastic. The wrong drawers came with the package (second photo) and clearly do not "snap together" as indicated. This company couldn't even print their own logo right. It's reversed.

A needed screw was missing from the package. Luckily I had a matching one at home.

The baskets are made of flimsy vinyl, and one of them wasn't even done correctly, as you can see in the last photo. Since the basket frame is riveted shut you can't just put the vinyl back on and clearly the manufacturer made a mistake here. The wheels obviously have some issue as moving the bathinette feels like a broken shopping cart. The locks for the wheels are again made of cheap plastic and broke the first time I tried to lock them.

Useless, unsafe, poorly made item.

Easy to assemble. Great price it was much more expensive in stores. Much better price on amazon from this seller
Fast shipping. Great quality I am very happy with this product. I purchased it for my best friend who just had a baby boy.
Great concept, not executed well

This is a great concept but not executed very well and isn't the greatest quality. Nevertheless, I would still recommend it especially if you are not planning to bathe your baby in the sink when bringing back from the hospital.

The most important feature here is the HEIGHT. When you get back from the hospital, the reality is that you will want to minimize bending and lifting. Even after recovery, having to bend down to change and bathe baby takes its toll on your back. Those play yards with changing stations and low nursery changing tables look good, but it will take you only a few diaper changes to realize that it is killing your back.

The good things about the changing table are that you can wipe it down, and there is tons of storage for diapers, wipes, diaper rash cream, wash cloths and other grooming items. I keep mine in the bathroom with the diaper pail next to it and really feel it is cleaner and easier to deal with than having a changing table in the bedroom or nursery. Additionally, the safety strap and wheel locks are great features. The bad thing about the changing table is that the material starts to tear at the corners and expose the foam after a while. Since this is in the bathroom and I don't care that much about how it looks, I've used duct tape to prevent it from tearing further. However, for the price being charged this really shouldn't be happening.

The bath tub in my opinion is of poor quality. First off, there is a bump in the middle which may be fine when the baby is older and sitting, but for a smaller baby it is awkwardly placed and digs into the back. You can put a thick bath mat (like the Leachco one) to help with this, but there will be an awkward stage where your baby outgrows the bath mat yet isn't quite ready to sit and this bump will be uncomfortable. Second, the tub doesn't drain quickly because the drain hole is small and you have to have the tube at just the right angle. I like to use plenty of water to bathe my baby and so keep the drain unplugged and tube attached, and find it gross to have him sitting in filthy bath water. Third, the tube falls off easily. I used super glue based on another review I read to keep it in place, but again for the price this should be better. Also, you have to go through the experience of the tube suddenly falling in the middle of a bath with water pouring all over the bathroom floor...dangerous. Of course, if you choose to keep the drain plugged during the bath this will not be an issue for you.

My baby is almost 8 months now and I am still using the changing table, but I haven't used the tub much. I prefer the First Years Infant to Toddler bathtub so far, love the sling feature. It drains pretty well compared to this tub and since I put it in the kitchen sink bending is not an issue. It is a hassle to have to transport the tub and bath items back and forth to the kitchen every time. If only the Baby Diego bath tub feature were better.

Do note that as your baby gets older, the safety strap won't be as useful anymore. My baby will suddenly flip despite it and try to get off the table, or kick and start sliding off so I can't step away from the table for even a second. Also, now that he is taller I can't put the wipes box on the table because there's barely enough room and he'll kick it to the floor anyway. The storage holder isn't big enough to hold wipes. I will probably get a table to put next to this keep wipes within reach but not on the table.

All in all I'm grateful for this table because I still have back pain and don't have to bend for diaper changes, but the tub feature is pretty much useless to me. I'm giving it four stars instead of three because I feel that despite all the cons, this has been a lifesaver for when I was recovering from delivery and to this day for my back pain.
