I used this to display my collection of promotional buttons from events and such. They tend to droop / angle a bit (corkboard isn't cloth) but they are held firmly in that position. The pin can jut out the other side of the board, so you'd have to be careful about the angle of the pin if you're using this for buttons. Overall though, I was having a hell of a time trying to find a way to display buttons, and this was a "plug and play" option delivered to my doorstep in 2 days.
Arrived damaged, thin cork

Solid wood frame and it looks beautiful, but the cork is just a thin layer over a thicker layer of particle board. Thumb tacks poked out the back and left a noticable hole in the backing. It also arrived damaged; the frame was dented and the cork was torn. Most likely, it was damaged in shipping, as we live in a pretty remote location.
Flimsy board that won't stand up to daily use/pinning, but it works for decorative purposes

My board arrived without any damage like some of the other reviews mentioned. All of the hardware was also included, though I ended up just using my own hanging nails because I didn't want to deal with drilling into a wall to put screws in place.
The main negative is that the cork is indeed super thin. I'm using normal push-pins, and the ends of them poke out the other side. Also, despite the cork being thin, it's still super hard to push the pins all the way into the cork. The result is that if you take a pin out, you can VERY easily feel the hole and even slight bulge around the area where you forced the pin in.
I still gave it three stars because it works for my purposes, but if you plan on buying this board for daily use, don't. It's better as a decorative thing where you pin and then leave items on, rather than a board where you're constantly pinning and then pulling things off.

This is a nice corkboard, and it comes with a measuring tape which enables one to properly mark the wall for the mounting screws. Took about five minutes to install - just needs a 1/4" drill bit (and drill) and a philips head screwdriver. A level is a help, too. Very easy to install and looks nice. Very good deal for the price.

This is a one of the best cork boards I've ever seen. I bought it to use as a vision board and I really like it because it's huge so it has lots of space for photos, drawings, etc. It was delivered on time and in one piece, no damage what's. However, I have to take away one star because it comes with screws that you have to put into the wall in order to install it. I live in an apartment so I don't want to put holes in my walls. I'm still trying to figure out a way to hang it without drilling it into the wall. For now it sits up against the wall on the floor. I'd definitely recommend this to someone who doesn't mind putting holes into their wall though. It's a great cork board.
