I've been considering give this product a go and finally thought "what the hell, let's do it".

I have fine hair with medium thickness. It's got some natural waves but if I go one day without showering, it becomes very obvious as my hair is weighed down by the oil my scalp produces. I use the Not Your Mother's dry shampoo spray(clean freak and the coconut one) but as with most dry shampoo, it leaves a white film behind that dissipates if I use a soft brush, but then the white powdery gunk gets in all my brushes. :/

The reason I like this stuff is:
A) It doesn't smell overly perfumed or headache-inducing, which I can't stand in hair and body products
B) It *does* give my hair a natural thickness once it's dry (you put this foaming mousse in while your hair is damp). No sticky residue or weighed down feeling
C) It allows me to go at least a couple days without washing and my hair isn't oily at the roots. Nice to have more days where I don't have to wash my hair as I know that it's better not to do it everyday.

This stuff is a game changer. I can't say it's necessarily better than any other mousse out there though I suspect it is and my research prior to purchase confirmed it...but this stuff works. Apparently mousse has changed from the 15 or so years since I have bothered with it. I have fine hair but its dense, meaning I have a ton of it. So it gets frizzy with humidity, and I have to keep it really healthy sans color/keratin treatments etc. lest it simply break off. And I'm a natural blonde and probably about a 3c wavy/curly girl to boot. So if I stick a bunch or styling crap in my hair not only will it break trying to brush it out, it will weigh it down and also cause me to have to wash it way too often. This stuff is light, no residue, and simply LIFTS the hair up off the head to provide style without weighing it down. I'm on day 3 and it still has lift!

I have very fine, mostly straight hair and I have a hard time finding products that don't leave my hair greasy. I have been on a campaign to find some volumizing products that work for me which led to me buying this got2b fat-tastic.

I only need a quick squirt for a small handful. I work it into my wet hair, avoiding the roots (I use a different product on my roots). I have not had any issues with looking greasy or any build up. I generally wash my hair every 2-3 days and this product doesn't affect my ability to do so.

It works pretty well for making my hair more stylable. It doesn't dry crunchy and my hair is brushable etc once dry. On a day to day basis if I am just wearing my hair down and flat, I don't see much need for this product but if I am doing an up-do, I definitely prefer to work this in.

Gives it that special volume after drying with dryer. It has a nice smell and a little goes a long way and does the job!

This mousse is fantastic! It REALLY thickens up your hair when you use it (not permanently). It helps your style last longer. I will say it gets crunchy and stiff at times, and if you have curly hair beware! Don't apply this mousse EVERY day, and a little goes a long way. This mousse can get realllllllllllyyyy troublesome if you use too much daily. My hair has become like a matted lions mane because of it, but thats because I used too much. But other than that, best mousse I ever used.
