Thin easy to tear and included a bug
RJT✓ Verified Purchase•August 1, 2017
Thin and easily torn. Not what I expected for "sponge neoprene." There was also a dang bug stuck to the backing of one roll too, between the material and backing. I don't like any bugs in my product, especially some ugly unknown Chinese bug for that matter, and will probably die of some horrible chinese rubber bug disease. Would not buy this item again. You truly do get what you pay for in this case.
Good quality product

Product seems to stick well, time will tell how the adhesive holds up. Self adhesive is a lot more convenient than trying to use contact cement. I started using an Exacto knife to cut the neoprene, but the edges tear. Much better to use sharp scissors.
High quality, but hard to get straight edges when cutting

This stuff is great. Im usining it for car audio purposes, and while its not a deadener, it does a good job of decoupling. If you have any panels that rattle against eachother, you can put this in between them and it will do a great job of absorbing the vibration. The only downside for me is that if you need to put it anywhere visible, its very hard to cut a straight edge on this material. Even at only 1/4 inch, its pretty thick and my cuts kept coming out jagged. Im going to try a thinner version for my visible areas and see if it cuts better. Otherwise the material is great and is a good vibration absorber
original foam was bad, found this and is perfect thickness and adheres ...

I used for my heat duct flaps on a C4 Corvette, original foam was bad, found this and is perfect thickness and adheres great. But it hasn't seen summer yet. I will update only if there is an issue.
I bought this to improve the padding on the cheek ...

I bought this to improve the padding on the cheek rests on my various rifles - much cheaper than buying the precut items. I estimate I can do about 12-14 rifles from one roll. The padding is thick and adheres well to properly prepared surfaces (on plastic butt stocks clean with alcohol and rough up with a 3M medium coarse sanding pad). I think it will hold up but only time will tell.
