Decent pad-folio for the price

Black synthetic leather. Can be used left handed or right handed, but left handed will result in most of the small pockets being upside down. Nice assortment of pockets (5 business/credit card size, 2 larger square ones, one ID, one that will fit 8.5" x 11" papers or tablet but not closed- or opened-ended manila folders [its wide enough, but not deep enough, tab will catch in zipper; you could fold the tab], wide open pocket, and closed zippered pocket). No outside pocket. Pen holder fits medium to slender pen. I've been using it lightly for 3 years and its still in good shape. I'd recommend this to anyone who writes on the right side of the padfolio, does not need to stash folders in the pocket (you can lay them on the pad), and needs medium to light capacity for documents. Good but not great

I had one of these in the past for about 6 years and it held up perfectly. In 2014 I decided it was time to purchase a new one and replace the old, not because any thing was wrong with it, the leather on the outside was just worn and dirty. Much to my surprise it didn't last but about a year and a half, around the zipper the leather was peeling and coming apart. Since then I have found something else to work not sure for how long. I am disappointed with this product the second time around. Looks more like a faulty product than I had gotten years ago.

At first, I was extremely apprehensive about purchasing this padfolio. I have very high expectations when it comes to accessories as everything I know if ultra high end luxury. I was taken back by the quality and integrity of this piece when it arrived. I am extremely happy with this purchase and can carry it with confidence. The interior is just the right about of pen holders, pockets and slots without being overwhelming.
This is a great organizer, just bought my second after Nine years!

I had bought this about 9 years ago at Wal-Mart I believe and it held up under very punishing use, holding all my paperwork for long haul trucking. After nine years of continuous use, the binding cover started to split. A google search brought me here, and I purchased my second. Don't let the price, or "Made in China" fool you, this is a very good quality organizer.

It is exactly what I needed, and likely exactly what you need as well.
Before I started my own business, I had a paper notebook and a laptop for my daily grind.
After starting my own business, I found that I DEFINITELY needed a portfolio to stow all my papers from the various and inevitable tons of meetings that I attended with partners, future clients, and vendors.
This is not leather, this is not Hermes; this is practical, gets the job done; yes, there is a cheesy zipper, but that zipper comes in handy when keeping things secure within the portfolio itself.
You can just replace the notepad included with yellow legal pads, which I plan on doing soon. I purchased this only a month or 2 ago and already the meeting notes have burned through the entire pad... Capitalism!
