Worked great for a month then nut came off

I do love the product and would rate high on Amazon.However, there is an issue. The small nut on the top part of spinner that connects the disc underneath the lid
came off while using and can not locate it. I have checked hardware stores for that small of a nut and can not find the proper size. I can not use the item now after a month if use.

Please note this salad spinner is tiny. I read reviews prior to purchasing which stated that this salad spinner was the appropriate size for one person, which is true. Even for one person, sometimes I feel like this is just too small! I like to do meal prep for the week, so I have to do multiple washes/spins for three heads of romaine.
It worked well for the first couple of weeks that I used it, but now it seems to be dying. Maybe I am overusing?
It's a good value, but it might work better for those who aren't planning on using frequently.

This salad spinner was delivered less than six weeks ago. The little screw holding the two top pieces together has already come out and really can't be fixed. Even more distressing, the nut holding the little screw was in my serving of salad. Glad I saw it before ingesting it.

It's a salad spinner. Not a lot to say. My only gripe is it seems to be pretty easy to grind the gears inside it if you have it loaded up pretty heavily. Start slow... There is a nut on the inside of the lid that seems awfully loose, but can't be tightened. It hasn't come off yet, and it works. I'm just concerned about the long-term reliability.
That said- it works, and I love the size which is perfect for 1-2 people. Other spinners I have purchased are just too big.

Pretty but too small

It spins well, but it is TINY! I knew it would be small, but for me it doesn't even really fit a full (meal size) salad for one person - and it really can't hold up to drying heavy leafy greens like kale, spinach, chard, collards, etc, which have more volume. "2-1/2-quart" sounds like it would be ok for that, and based on some of the other reviews, I thought maybe. Unfortunately I don't think it will be doing the job for us. Also, the long handle means it isn't really a space saver in the cabinet. The pour spouts are great, though, and I do like that I can put it in the dishwasher. It's very easy to clean. It is also aesthetically pleasing, a nice color. I really wish I'd gotten the four quart version, though! I think that because of the handle, they would have taken up about the same amount of space in the cabinet. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who likes their leafy greens.
