Fits Almost Everybody... ALMOST
Mac Buddha✓ Verified Purchase•September 29, 2023
I'm who they are talking about fitting almost everybody. It barely fits by itself over a shoulder for "back sword" carry, but forget adding the sword, that part doesn't work for the Falstaffian person. The belt seems to be an amazingly well made solid leather or whatever. Mine was the lighter brown as mentioned by some, and it does have the square decorative leather bits. The keepers, two are fine (eventually) for the holding of my Claymore. The third keeper I removed and will be repositioning to hold my dagger conveniently in the front. Like I said, It doesn't fit, yet, but I have ordered a strip of leather to make the thing to fit us large people. Move the buckle, make it longer, make it right. Punch some holes, I could use rivets, but probably will use Chicago screws. And, no, the crappy sheath that came with my Claymore does not fit, way too large, even just using two snaps vs all four. But, like I said, crappy sheath. All things considered, I'm quite satisfied.
For only $11 its a steal, but....

Good:
1. I was able to fit a 3in width sword (that includes the sheath) into the holders by just using one of the buttons instead of both
2. Looks nice works well
Bad:
1. The 3rd hold is kind of useless as it seemed with any sword I tried to clasp on with all three holder it seemed to make the belt not long enough, but you can just not use it (Can be seen in in costumers images under reviews if you want reference)
2. Pretty sure you're going to have to drill more holes no matter what (very easy to do just take a knife and spin it to create a hole)
3. For larger swords the belts sits a bit oddly.
^^^^^^(Belt wasn't made for larger swords, so not the products fault)
Overall: The the price it is totally worth it. I have seen belts slightly nicer as this go for 10X the price at Ren fairs. You might have to do a bit of tinkering with it, but nothing crazy.

I first saw this item while looking for a sword and belt for a link costume, and came across this. Looked through the product description, couldn't quite tell if it came with the sword or not. So, I check the reviews, found a couple of that seemed to tell me what I needed to know, and whether it was the way they did the wording, or the fact that they went ahead and bought the sword along with it, or was made out to seem that you get both the sword and belt for $16.00. Well either way it was not both. I placed my order, checked my email a couple days later only to find that I had an email from them that they needed my full address before they could ship it. As it turns out I didn't have my full street address on my shipping info. I corrected it and sent it to them, but it seems that the item got sent out the same day they sent me the email. Not much I could do at that point but wait and see if the new info caught up with the package. It didn't, it came very close, but as they didn't know where exactly it was going they returned it to sender. Otherwise it would have arrived on time. So I contacted Top Swords and asked "what now", didn't get a response. Sent another email a couple days later, got a reply saying "we've not received the package back yet but are sending you a new one anyway, here is your tracking number_ _ _ _. So, waited about 5 days, and just got it today, no trouble this time. As I got the package my fear that it was not the sword and belt, but was just the belt. I checked the belt out, and as its made to sit across your chest and over your back, I can say it is quite comfortable. Its almost a little to big, but I think when I get the sword it'll help even it out. Some people said it smells heavily of leather, and while it is made of leather, and does smell of leather, it's not that bad, nothing worse than buying a real leather belt at a store. Aside from the fact that I miss took some of the other reviews for something that this is not, I'm overall happy with the perches. The only thing I'd change is adding another notch or two in the belt, for the really tall and skinny people, as I'm 6'4" and only weigh 160. Overall I was also happy with how Top Swords handled this and wouldn't mind doing business with them again, All I'd say is to try and respond to inquires a little sooner. So just be sure to check your shipping info before ordering something and you should be good. Link Hyrule Sword Leather Belt Strap
Great! Thanks

So today my strap came in, someone said that it is not real leather? Well I have a rebuttal for you;
I HATE LEATHER! And avoid wearing it at all costs. I can scope out Leather quite well. However if I need to wear it for a ren faire costume or any other costume, I will. THIS IS REAL LEATHER! I know the feel, the smell, the sound. And this checks out in all categories for being real leather. However I can see how this may be mistaken for faux leather. It is highly glossy, giving it a fake feel, but that smell is unmistakable.
If you are a Zelda Fan, and like to carry your Master Sword places (Or if you have a Kokiri, Ordon, Great Fairies Sword or any other sword from the franchise... This is the real deal. It is the same type of strap that Link carried through Twilight Princess. I consider myself a long time Zelda Fan.
The ONLY complaint I have about this thing is how uncomfortable it is. HOWEVER! It is not that the strap itself is uncomfortable. It is because the sword itself is 40lbs. The strap, as a strap should be, is light weight, a whole 4-6 lbs, adding as LITTLE weight as possible to the bearer.
Bottom line is, Yes this is a high quality strap, durable enough to carry a sword of 40 lbs. If you are buying it for Cosplay, you might want to find a way to pad the shoulder, middle of the back and your hips because those are going to be problem areas.

Ren Fair fare
Neem✓ Verified Purchase•August 5, 2023
Have to say this is a very nice product. Leather is heavy....very sturdy throughout. I have to return it because it is too large, wrapped around my body too much so the sword ended up in an uncomfortable position. I'm sure it is a great fit for a man. But I'm an average sized women. Also when I put my sword on with it the whole deal was just too heavy for my shoulders to bear. After an hour my neck would have been exhausted, let alone go all day at the Fair. I'm going to have to use a waist belt and frog which I thought would get in my way a bit more than a back holder. Would go without a sword, but mine sort of makes my outfit.
I returned this item with no charges to me and was credited immediately. You can absolutely count on this dealer to work with you. I would buy from them again, and probably will as they have many items that are what I need for Ren Fair costumes. Kudos to the dealer.
