I use these traps for cat TNR. I purchased my first one from a local feed depot for $80. I was pleased to find the same exact trap (32" single door, Little Giant made by Miller) here on amazon and sold by PlumStruck for $60!!! It is solid, heavy, and does the trick. Especially when I use a fish flavor Fancy Feast as bait.

A couple months ago we borrowed one of these Little Giant traps and it worked great. That trap appeared to be over 10 years old and had been stored outside collecting pine needles. When I cleaned it up, I found the trap was still in excellent condition with no rust, and it functioned great. It was clearly built to last. So when we decided to buy our own trap, we went with the same brand. Boy, was I disappointed when the trap arrived. Compared to the older version, the new traps are made of thinner wire and the galvanized coating looks thin. The old trap was made in the USA but the new ones are made in China and seem flimsy compared with the old ones. So far, the new trap has functioned well but I doubt it will last like the old version.
UPDATE: After two years, I'm raising my rating to five stars. Even though the build is not as robust as older versions, the trap has functioned flawlessly. It's stored outside all year, yet there's no sign of rust or wear. I'm very satisfied with this trap.
