This product measures well but has never reset itself back to zero using the button on the handle since I received it or after a few months of use. I always have to use the button on the actual wheel, sort of defeating the purpose of paying extra for this feature. Maybe I have a defective unit?

Its been a year now since I purchased this wheel.I should mention I do a ton of measuring in my line of work as field tech for a fiber optic engineering company.Some weeks can be upwards of 5-6 miles(265-318k')on the wheel. I have gone through 3 counters and will be receiving my 4th in a few days from US Tape. Main reason this is still getting 5* is for the outstanding customer service by US Tape and the wheel itself is very well built and durable. Other than replacing the counter,which is simply removing 4 small phillips screws for the counter and 2 for the belt cover, very pleased with the DW-PRO.

These wheels are some of the better ones on the market.... I run a crew of surveyors I have at any one time 15 wheels in the field. the only issue with these wheels is that the clear button on top tends to stick....But as these wheels are very accurate compared to other brands. Its worth the button sticking a little
