Beautiful, but will it hold up?
TC✓ Verified PurchaseJanuary 24, 2018
This bra is beautifully designed, very elegant. The cups have just enough lining so that it can be worn with thin shirts without showing "high beams." The top of the cups come up far enough to avoid the 4-boob look, where the cups appear to cut each breast in half. The straps are wide enough to be comfortable, but not so wide that the bra looks like something your grandmother would wear. The sides are wide enough to offer support, maybe a little too wide because my underarm fat does splooge over. For the price, I'd like to see Prima Donna bras with 3-hook back closures on all sizes, not just plus-size. It is a beautiful bra, though, and looks as if it will hold up.
Beautiful but also supportive

I've tried about 6-8 new bras and this is the only one that actually supported great and also looks nice on. GIves good support, with no "side boob" squeezing out and no weird line across the top of my breasts where the lace meets skin. I did have to size up to 36I from my typical 34H size. I have been wearing Elomi bras, but there were none in my size at Nordstrom so I decided to go on-line. I ordered 4 from Herroom, but none of those fit either, and their "expert" had no advice other than if it's too tight go up a size. I went to Amazon and finally found something that fits!
Nirvana

Nirvana! I have the hardest time finding bras that don't pinch, create bra fat, suffocate me in cleavage, or a myriad of other problems. This one FITS. It is comfortable right out of the box and provides good support. The best thing is that nothing spills over under my armpits, and there's no "butt crack cleavage". I read that this bra specifically gives good side support, and it's true. It's a full coverage bra, but still low enough in front to wear a V-neck top with no problem. I think under a silk or other thin fabric the design would show through, so it may not be great for certain clothes. But overall it's a winner. I wish it was about $50 cheaper though.
Made nicely but very poorly designed
Carol K.August 11, 2017
The bra, overall, is nicely made. A couple things are bugging me about it though. Enough so that I'm having to give it a poor rating. First, the measurements seem off. I have other 44in bras (even with a smaller cup size) and they do not feel like this one. I actually had to get an extender to make this one fit more comfortably. Second, the straps are HORRIBLE. They curl and bite into my shoulders unless positioned just the right way which ends up feeling like they are going to slip off my shoulders and create quite the wardrobe malfunction. I've figured out how to wear it to the extent that it is tolerable but I won't be buying any more of this style.
Worth every penny

Yes, $135 for a bra is expensive. But the first day you wear a bra that fit properly after years of poorly sized VS bras, you will never go back. I have 2 other Prima Donna bras I've had and worn for 2 years and the only reason I bought another is the nude one was getting a bit stained. They last a long time girls. Its something we wear every single day, don't waste years of being uncomfortable.
