First use went great. Second use I received light electrical shocks for about 5 minutes of polishing then shut down for a break, when I went to continue the job the unit would not even power on, after all troubleshooting determination is this grinder/polisher is junk! Do not waste time and money like I did, spend the extra $ for a reputable brand. Now I'm stuck with an incomplete project and an angry client
Water connections leak horribly. O-ring and rubber gasket worthless.

My Secco polisher did not come with the pictured water connections. The ones that were sent leaks like crazy and would not stop with the o-ring and rubber seal that was sent. I could not get either of the seals to work without blocking the water flow completely, or leaking. I'm not sure why they wouldn't send the better connections as pictured on the Amazon page, but these don't work. I had to make it work with Teflon tape just so I could get my job done that was already behind. Very disappointed with this product. The actual polisher seems to be decent quality, but it's not worth much with the water fittings leaking so badly. I wish it had the option to contact seller instead of sending it back so I could get the issue corrected more easily with replacement parts as pictured on the seller page.
Decent value for one job, won't make it through two.

This worked relatively well for our first granite counter job, though not without some design problems.
During our second job a year later the power switch became very flukey and then stopped working - fortunately on so we could use the GFI buttons to turn it off and on. This is a safety issue so I will be throwing it away after this job and getting the Makita if I have another job.
We also had problems with the shroud staying on.
