Great Johnny Cabinet

My husband and I moved into a new home last year. When we moved in, we tried our best to find ways to create as much storage as we could, while staying modern and clean looking. I bought a lot of white colored furniture for our bedroom, and I needed somewhere besides underneath our sinks to store extra toilet paper and hand towels in our master bathroom. I looked at many of these Johnny cabinets at Lowes and Home Depot, but I saw this one on Amazon and I liked the caninet and shelf space the best. I'm so glad that we ordered this. It took my dad and I to hang it up, as I held the cabinet while my dad drilled. It hung up easily and I put it together by myself with ease. I feel that this is the perfect size, and it's slim but large enough to store our things above the toilet. My only complaint was that the little stickers that some people need to use when following the instructions were terribly hard to remove. I actually left some of them on because I couldn't get them off. The seller shipped this to us quickly, which was an added bonus.

I love this cabinet. I have a very small bathroom and needed a very shallow shelf to sit in the tiny available space I had. The dimensions of this are PERFECT. I'm sad it's pressboard, but I guess you can't get something like this for under 200 if it's REAL wood. The pieces were all present (it even came with a baggie of "extra" parts) and I put it together myself with no assistance in about 45 minutes. The instructions could be clearer (almost no words) but if you're decent with putting stuff together, this shouldn't be a problem for you.
I did not hang this, it sits on the ground. Because I didn't want it directly on the bathroom floor (in case of spills) I put a small section of the included styrofoam packing underneath it and now it sits about a half inch off the floor, and the styrofoam isn't visible underneath.
I am very happy with this. I only wish I'd kept the little circular white stickers to hide the lock bolts - I threw them out with the trash. Sigh.

We bought 2 of these for our storage challenged apartment, needed these for the bathrooms. My husband had no problem assembling these, both put together in less then an hour...directions weren't the best, but common sense does help. They both went up over the toilet in no time. Comes with anchors and screws for hanging. They look nice and neat and are just the right size. I love them!

My wife had been searching for something like this for a few months. She found this on Kohl's site, but I found it cheaper on Amazon, even after all of Kohl's discounts. I realized that the product is inexpensive, but it is _really_ cheap. I had to pay strict attention the entire time that I was putting it together to make sure I handled it with kid gloves. There was one broken cam, and some alignment issues with the back, but I got it together. Unfortunately, the mounting holes did not allow me to hit one stud, much less two. I was able to mount it, but did not feel comfortable leaving it attached just to drywall. I also felt that the thing might fall apart if someone opened it without kid gloves.
Amazon was wonderful with the return. The product felt so cheap when I unpacked it that I took pictures - figuring the odds were greater than 50% that I would have to re-pack and return it.

Where's the Quality Control?

Acquired this to put in a downstairs half bathroom, as the dimensions were exactly what I was looking for. Kit arrived undamaged, but almost all of the wooden parts were warped to varying degrees. The interlocking construction straightened most of the warps, except for the cabinet door, which was warped severely enough to not engage the magnetic latch at the top. Contacted seller, who sent out a replacement door, which was incredibly even more warped than the original. Would not recommend this product due to non-existent quality control.
