The ONLY canned cat food ALL of my Felines love to eat
Helen E.✓ Verified Purchase•July 29, 2016
My cats love it. All four eat it. That does not work with any other canned food - only with this particular product. Unfortunately there were problems in the supply line and I had to bridge the time until I could get it back. Now, that I have restored their favorite food supply, they are all very happy. Which in turn makes me happy, too. In addition to having to spend less time with "Cooking for Felines".

even though there are hundreds of studies showing that grain and meat by-products are terrible for cats

In the cat food industry, even though there are hundreds of studies showing that grain and meat by-products are terrible for cats, it is nearly impossible to find wet cat food or otherwise without these harmful ingredients. And when you do, your pets are so used to the addictive nonsense the companies put in the food you were feeding them, that they will starve themselves rather than eat what is actually good for them. That being said, Natural Valley is not perfect. It still has ingredients that I wish were left out, but they are farther down the list than most other brands, and the questionable ingredients that are present are the "fence sitters". They are not the worst of the worst. The cost is very fair, and the best part - I have 2 inside cats, 3 cats I am trying to re-home, and about 10 strays that I feed on a regular basis and every single one of the cats will eat this food like it has always been their favorite.
So in a world that doesn't really care too much about what they put in the processed food they sell to any of us, including human consumers and their pets, this seems to be a happy medium. It may not be the best food for my cats, but my cats enjoy it and therefore stay alive. Ha. Hope this helps someone.
