We bought this scale because the digital ones we bought previously kept breaking or falling in the sink of water. They are not waterproof. We use this scale in a restaurant so it gets lots lots of wear and tear. It is still going strong. We also like that it has no batteries replace. It is commercial grade, and I expect it to last a long time. I gave it 4 stars only because I would like the surface area on top to be a little larger. But it works great.

Exactly what we ordered and works great. Good packaging and arrived undamaged. Pretty accurate but not perfect. I think these are designed to be a reference scale and not exact or for legal weights. I like this little scale, it works well for portion control. Things like loin or tuna need to be cut correctly and checking portions is the only way to keep losses down. The scale has a little bounce, but no big deal. The zeroing function is nice, the face turns, with the big knob in front.
