Let me tell you dear DIVERS: I searched, researched, researched some more, then I researched again and again until I made this final purchase.
I know...that's a lot of researching! :)
I ordered knives from Cressi, Riffe and several other expensive brands, and they all went back.
This one Gentlemen is a keeper!!
Very Very happy with this purchase:
- Titanium, which means: LOW maintenance!
- Can be completely disassembled, which means: EASY maintenance!
- Positive and secure lock...audible "CLICK" lets you know it is secure.
- WONDERFUL, finger grooved handle. It doesn't get any better !
- SHARP...on all sides.
- Nice straps...could be a bit longer!
- Costs no more than other non Titanium knives.
Plain and simple...it's a beautiful, practical and quality dive knife, that's worth every Penny!
No wonder my son wants one for his birthday .

Sharp (ouch) tip. Good blade and secure. Kicking around a lot and never felt like I would lose it. Happy with this product.

Generally I think this knife is great, but I ran into a problem with the sheath yesterday that will make me dive with a different knife on beach entries. I had the knife mounted on my left calf. I was diving Monastery Beach in the Monterey/Carmel area in CA. The beach sand is very coarse with big sand particles. When I came out of the water, I did the "Monastery crawl" both dives. Afterwards, I found that I could not get my knife out of the plastic sheath. There were a lot of sand particles that got caught underneath the release mechanism most likely when I crawled out of the surf. I tried shaking them out while rinsing it in a bucket, but not all of it came out. So I waited until I got home, pried the release mechanism up while I flushed out the area with running water, and now it works fine. Knowing what I know now, I won't dive this knife doing a beach entry.

Awesome knife! Easy to disassemble to clean and sharp and light! My first time taking it out I snorkeling, I used it to free a sea turtle from some fishing line. Worked like a charm!

Arrived on time. The blade is non magnetic and sharp right out the box , used 2000 grit wet/dry sand paper and polished it to a razor sharpness without any trouble. Easy to disassemble and clean & oil. No rust after 2 long weekend dives.
Comfortable in hand and scabbard and locking mechanism work good. Only issue was the leg straps, the buckles were attached wrong. Easy to fix, but it took a minute to figure out. Would definitely recommend a neoprene leg mount.
