Great for the tops of jars!

First off, these are perfect for the TOPS of spice jars. They fit perfectly on a standard lid, and unless the lid is black or dark green, the letters show up fine. I store my spices in a drawer standing up so I just need to see the top of the jar to know what's inside (unless I accidentally switch lids, which hasn't happened yet.) They take up less room this way. I wouldn't necessarily recommend these for the front of jars as there are bigger labels out there. As far as the labels sticking, I've had the same prob with other clear labels. But work your way with your fingernail around the label and you'll get your nail under the label at some point, and it will peel off totally from the paper. I've never had any become totally stuck and unusable. There aren't all the spices I like--missing cayenne and some "exotic" Asian spices--but there's enough. And I really appreciate not having to write on the tops of my jars...
Has most every spice I need and looks great on jar.

These labels are great! I purchases a spice rack set (2 actually) that had small glass jars with chrome colored lids. The set only came with plain white stickers and I knew that would not look good. I bought these as they are clear background and printed in a nice bold black. I put the sticker on the top of each of my jars since they are on a rack where the top faces outward They look beautiful and I found this set had most all of the spices I would use. I totally recommend these labels if you want something that blends with chrome or glass and just shows the printing.

The labels where shipped promptly & arrived on schedule. I bought the labels for Ratjan jars from Ikea, to hold spices. There are 5 sheets of labels, only the first 3 are spices, the last two sheets are pantry & hoppy/shop lables such as cereal, rice, glue, nuts & bolts, etc. The last sheet also included 8 blank labels. The labels come off the sheet easily & adhere to the lids well. I would have liked the type to be bolder so they can be clearly seen on the jar lids. I would also have liked more spice/herb & blank labels & less pantry/shop labels. Overall I am satisfied with the purchase but will have to buy more labels for the variety of spices /herbs that I have. A suggestions would be to add more than one label for the same spice in different forms i.e. cinnamon and cinnamon sticks; whole bay leaves and crushed bay leaves, etc.

Horrible. Poor design: Black letters on clear stick on labels make the words nearly invisible unless on a full bottle of very light colored herb. I have a spice organizer that I got used. It didn't have labels and the labels from the original owner have long since worn off. In my thriftyness, I tried simply labeling the caps with permanent marker. However, I keep the spices near the stove so grease occasionally splatters on them. Without fail, every time this happens and I wipe the container off, my permanent marker labeling rubs off. I finally broke down and purchased actual labels. These labels are a great size (about the size of a quarter). The variety of pre written labels is great. The backing is clear, so if you have cute canisters the labels are hardly noticable. They also hold up well. I washed some containers and labeled lids with no issue. I've also wiped them down with disinfecting wipes with no issue.
