Best Saltine Crackers Made
Sequoiadendron gigantea•December 18, 2014
These are by far the best saltine on the market. Nabisco makes this substandard cracker called "Premium" or some such. They are avaialble everywhere. That's because Nabisco threatens to pull all the products off the shelf if a store carries the Zestas. The employees of a local mom and pop grocery store in the rural area I live in told me this. That store just let them threaten and Nabisco lived up to its promise and stopped dealing with this mom and pop.
The reason the Zestas are so much better is they are much lighter and much less chewyer. They have a great flavor. I can eat a few and not feel stuffed like the Premiums do. Many restaurants serve only the Zestas two cracker pack with their salads, especially chef salads. I've not been to a Sizzler that doesn't have Zestas in the rack at their salad bar. These are so hard to find as so few major grocery stores stock them and as I only get into the city occasionally I can't find or don't remember who sells them. I can't wait to leave the city once I'm in one so I don't try to shop around to find them. It's great that Amazon sells them.
If you like to have crackers around the house, simple ones like saltines, then try these. If you haven't liked saltines before you may just like these.
