I should have listened to the last review. I am getting a surgery soon and decided to stock up. But I wanted to save a few dollars and bought this. It was HORRIBLE. Very strong musty/ moldy taste. As I am sensitive and have strong allergies to molds. This issue makes me very upset. I was offered a full refund via Amazon though so I will live and learn. I often get this brand via the store and it's always tasted fantastic. My absolute favourite brand. I will be sticking to the store from now on as I've never had a problem with quality from there.

There is something wrong with this latest batch. It smells and taste musty and something akin to turpentine. I am going to try and contact the company for information and see if they have had some problems lately.

This applesauce is great for my kids lunches. They love the flavor, I like that it's organic. I gave the applesauce itself a 5 star rating. Now, the price could be lower (still cheaper than my grocery store), and the packaging and shipping could be much better. I had to stop ordering this because when they would arrive, many would be damaged and leaking.

This has to be the best apple sauce out there for anyone needing organic or natural foods! I love the "rustic" feeling that goes with each batch - you can really tell the apples used were fresh and there is no trace of anything I am allergic to (which is everything!) I hope they don't change a thing about their process. The sauce in the small packets is a bit thinner and sweeter than the jars, so when I prefer one consistency or taste I just use what suits and sometimes mix the two for a custom taste. Couldn't ask for anything better!
