Superb, medium green ink
R. Ellis✓ Verified PurchaseJune 28, 2017
I got this ink because I've finally used up the last of my Mont Blanc scented green ink (a tragedy, but I digress...) and while this is a slightly lighter green than that ink, it's really quite amazing. The flow is superb with fine and extra fine nibs in both expensive (Meisterstuck) and inexpensive (Lamy) pens, is a mid-green color (not overly dark, but not emerald either), and does not bleed through or feather on any of the papers that I regularly use (mostly better quality paper.) I've not tried it on copy paper or generic notebooks, but it's a glorious writing ink on everything I've used so far. Mine came in the older glass bottle, which was really nice because I prefer those, and was filled to the brim, so use caution when opening. There was the perfect amount of head space to insert a pen to load without overflowing the bottle, an added bonus. This is now my #1 green ink.
Very Nice Ink

I really love the color(s)/shading of this ink. It doesn't seem to bleed or feather much. It dries fast enough not to be a problem (for me). The bottle is huge (and filled TO THE RIM). This was my first bottle of Noodler's and I see why their ink is so popular... very solid product and I'll certainly be trying other colors from Noodler's line of inks.
A Lovely Soft Gray

I was given a Lamy fountain pen as a gift & wanted to use it for sketching. I needed a waterproof ink & something that wouldn't clog the pen, & Noodlers was a brand that came highly recommended from multiple sources (Amazon included). I tried the Lexington Gray because other artists mentioned that it was a pleasant alternative to the crisper lines resulting from black ink when used to block out a sketch. As a newbie to ink drawing, I find the gray more forgiving than black for that purpose, & I can go back into my sketch with black ink for more emphasis if desired.

Beautiful color. I don't have it in one of my flexi pens. But even in my medium nib metropolitan it shades beautifully. It starts at a light antique looking red and shades to a deep rusty blood red. It's gorgeous. I've sampled the Australian roses and this has no hint of purple and a bit lighter on the dark tones
A lovely ink for calligraphy!

Thank goodness I have a broad & 1.1 stub nibbed pens. Ottoman Rose really shows itself with a broad, stub or calligraphy nib. With an extra fine, or nib, you will not truly see the nice shading that this ink provides. With the medium nib I was just able to see what potential shading there could be had in this color. Overall with my 1.1 stub, it is a deep rich rose red, with lovely shading. On the Rhodia Dotpad I experienced no feathering or bleedthrough.' With my Rohrer & Klingner glass dip pen, I was also able to see that dark rich shading. Of course with the broad nibs, the dry times take a bit longer. My computer does not take the best snaps, however, you can see how using a broader nib brings out a deeper color.
