Works great. We use this in our packaging design department all the time. Saves us time so we don't have to manually cut out little triangles for product mockups. Hefty duty and punches through couple layers of cardstock fine.

This item does exactly as stated. IF you want to punch through thick layers of cardboard it WILL NOT do it. The FRONT OPENING is only +-⅛" wide, just enough for a top fold of light cardboard type material and punch thru. People complain about "alignment" problems...There is NO guide or stop on the rear edge, so just learn to adjust for the angle that you need. As for "OILY" or black, I washed mine down before use with WD40 overnight then blew it off. I have no problem with "black marks". I did NOT give it 5 stars only due to the fact of the front opening, I did expect a more wider opening. MALCO makes a terrific PUNCH for doing aluminum siding work, it punches a nice ¼" opening that is +- ⅞" wide. The mouth opening is close to 3/16"... then again its pricier than this.

Worked great!! Got some old store shelving to store things. The batteries at Sams Club don't have holes in packaging. Using a knife does not work great, but this works great.

This punch works quite well for its purpose, and has improved the professional look of our products. My only complaint is that it sometimes gets white cardstock dirty--when folded over, the cardstock is sometimes difficult to remove and gets scuffed by the (oily?) inside surface of the punch.
