I was trepidatious at first when i bought this item.. It wasn't mentioned on the Water Pik website, nor this one. I magnified the pics and did comparison with the pocket pick i had on hand. Decided to take a chance with the vendor (WikiDeal).. If it didn't work out, that actually would have been okay.

I've got gum disease, bad genetics and worse habbits. I use this with warm water and man, not only does it clean it's pretty soothing to the gums. I won't lie to you, at first, it's a little jarring but when you use it daily, you'll look forward to it. If you brush, floss and use this after meals, you can tell your hygienist to step off.
Best thing to get healthy gums!

Water pik and these tips are amazing for gingivitis, teeth with spacing, and teeth with no spacing.
I have all 3. Flossing, even every day, will make me bleed and not let the gums heal. These though, on the right setting, are amazing. And they get out things that floss doesn't. Further, I don't break floss on teeth that are too tight together because it isn't floss - ha. Love this!

Love it! Actually this tip slows down the pulsing of the Waterpik and provides me with a little more time to aim and get the tip where it needs to be without running out of water. I have the cordless Waterpik and with the original tip the reservoir lasted 30 seconds but with this tip it now lasts a minute. It's perfect and gets into those pocket areas perfectly!
