Nice casting.
One of the better filter heads

This is a very well designed filter head. It is a lightweight cast part (seems like Aluminum or Magnesium, but I am not sure). It has two mounting bosses on the top, which gives a lot of flexibility for mounting. Most filter heads are supported by the pipes, which can be a problem if one (or both) of the connections are flex hose. But this filter head can be mounted from the top and used with flex hose if you want!
