Cooks up nice with butter or olive oil taste is the best. No gmo and no chemicals.

I would recommend this highly to anybody who loves grits and knows how to cook them. These are like SUPER GRITS and have DELICIOUS corn flavor. We have Bob's Red Mill Organic grits polenta about once a week with salad and /or greens of some sort, especially in the winter and everyone always raves. I have tried another product:" de lo Estancia" Organic Polenta when I couldn't find Bob's Red Mill Polenta anymore (the Harris Teeter here closed and they were the only ones to have it before I discovered the INTERNET)...and that brand is gummy and tasteless and doesn't come close to Bob's. The service is great at Bob's too. So if you like wonderful tasting grits try it. I recommend this product confidently.

I'm from the south and know my (corn) grits. This was my first go with Bob's Red Mill and I'm pleased with the purchase. I highly recommend this brand if the chef has never eaten grits (I know, but somewhere, in some Galaxy, there's a grit deprived being!) or lacks experience cooking grits because mine were amazing without my little extra techniques to make them uber creamy and luxurious. Good flavor, too, Bob's Red Mill!

What I disliked, was the fact that I paid $30. For two bags, and as soon as I paid for it. The next pop up was two bags for $18. But the food is good.

When searching for polenta I didn't see much of a selection on Amazon. Eventually I came across this brand which I've seen in Sprouts and similar grocery stores so I assumed it was good quality.
I'm going to get to the bad part of the review over with first. I hate the packaging. They should just have their packaging re-designed to be more like a zip lock bag. The packing could tear very easily if you're not careful.
Other than that, I love the flavor of this polenta. It's so delicious. I use lactaid to make it and heat it over the stove. I do have to pay attn when im cooking it, but it's delicious and a perfect addition to breakfast. Most of the time I don't even add salt and the flavor is still enjoyable.
