If you like quality to an affordable price this is the tool for you! It is a precision measurement tool. It doesn't come with a calibration certificate, but unless you are building a spaceship, you won't need one. This is just accurate as it is!
One thing, you need good eyesight or wear lenses. And please don't complain! It can't have bigger scale, numbers or whatever.. It is the way it has to be, and has been for years and years. Just have a digital caliper if you think having trouble reading the scale. For anyone working in harsh environments, cold, hot or where liquids can get on the tool, then this is your type of caliper at a fair price. Bear in mind this is not the cheap caliper of your local walk-in hardware store.
