Torch worked well... when it worked. I had it for only two weeks and used it on two small projects with propane. On my third project, the torch stopped working. It sounds like something is wrong with the valve. I can hear slight hissing, but not much pressure, and not enough to light the torch. Tried with the valve fully open and every position in between...

I replace the torch with a similar item from Mag-Torch. Way more reliable, but no auto off. Once the valve is open, the gas is always flowing. Only way to turn off gas is to screw down the valve. The Berzomatic shuts off the gas when the trigger is released.

This torch is awesome. Super high heat AND, if you have a steady hand, you can control the flame size on the fly with the trigger. Onlly complaint is the tip is not removable, so it's very difficult to clean out if solder or debris falls down inside.

You can braze quite easily with 3/4" pipe or smaller...FYI.

I use this to sear meats in my Sous Vide cooking. Works great. Great control and instant start up.

I use this for soldering refrigerant lines and components nearly daily. The design is good. I use a loose firing zip tie in the top loop to help hold the tank in the hoslster. Torch lights most of the time on first or second trigger pull. Trigger operated ignition and flow control makes soldering joints a lot easier especially when location or position is less that favorable. Regulator works well. I have had the same MAPP gas tank on for a while and this torch seems to not burn a lot of gas. Hose length provides good reach when holster is clipped to belt. Holster has a metal sleeve to hold the torch that I think could use some improvement or angle or design. The torch handle is very light. This is nice as it doesn't cause fatigue but I wish it was a little heavier. I question the quality of tools when they are too light. Handle is made of thin plastic so it is designed to be light but can feel a little flimsy at time. Would like the ignition to be a little more reliable as well.

Over all I am very happy with this torch.

Pros: We purchased this for installing vehicle wraps. It was easy to install on our current bottle and it works flawlessly. This is a great purchase if you find yourself frequently having to carry a torch around. Carrying the bottle can become quite a nusiounce. This comes with a pounch for the bottle so you can keep it on your hip and it obviously comes with the torch as well. This was a really good purchase for our shop.
