Worked well for 80 mile trip

Bought these after a 80 mile kayak trip down the Suwannee River last year after I came home with raw meat for hands. I just got back from the second leg and 81.2 miles later and these worked great. Much better than going raw handed! I did get a very small blister on my left hand between my thumb and pointer finger, but that is to be expected give the miles I put in. I will be wearing them for the last 91 miles of the river.

I used these for Tough Mudder, and they did exactly what I needed them to. They protected my hands from abrasions on wall obstacles, and kept my hands from getting covered in slippery slime on mud obstacles, so I was able to take them off and perform on obstacles like Funky Monkey.

Purchased these for my husband and they seem to run small. They are rather cheap and I seriously question these are 1.5 mm neoprene, more like some kind of spandex.. I was pretty disappointed as they won't last long. My husband has only worn them for 3 short kayak trips and has to be very careful when taking them off. I have a pair of gloves by NRS and once these go, will purchase the same as mine. Can't recommend these.
Sizing is ludicrously small

The gloves themselves are fine -- they feel nice. But the sizing is absurd. I ordered Large; I am a male with average sized hands; (no tiny Presidential fingers, no Lebron-sized dinner plates.) The gloves are so small that they fit my petite wife, who has tiny slender hands. I can't even get my hands fully into them. The end of the glove is on my palm. See the picture below.
XL by what standard?

I use an XL golf glove so got the same. These are difficult to get on but are satisfactory once on the hand. The velcro fastener does not reach far enough across to feel secure. They are an absolute problem to get off the hand. I will probably end up using a pair of my West Marine gloves but I am going to try these. Perhaps they will be a little more cooperative once they are wet, but I don't expect much.
