This is the smallest piton I've found and thought it would make an interesting climbing-related necklace. You never know when you might (theoretically) need to leave behind a tiny piton to bail off some remote alpine route. Always be prepared when venturing into the backcountry :)
Interestingly, the piton is slightly larger than I expected at ~24mm wide and came with a nice thick clearcoat layer to prevent corrosion. It does indeed make a nice weighty necklace with BlueWater 3mm "Red Mix" accessory cord (ASIN B00182XRXQ).
