Purchased this because our fourth grade child is starting orchestra. Make sure that you buy a maintenance/repair kit and a stand as this trumpet doesn't come with anything other than the trumpet, case, polishing cloth, and mouthpiece. We've had to order some minor parts for the valves already, for a starter trumpet it's not a bad investment and was certainly cheaper than renting from the school.

Very good quality instrument for the price. My son is a second year band student and he is getting great use out of it with no problems. Investment has paid for itself already in two months as I spent that much in rental fees via a instrument rental company. Really nice and professional looking equipment that's not flimsy. Came in its own music case, good quality and with cleaning cloth and oil. My son enjoys playing and I enjoy that I don't have to pay rental fees and own it. Came highly referred by his band teacher. In the worse case scenario if it falls apart in a year or so the investment will allow for a easy replacement without breaking the bank.

The horn arrived quickly and as advertised. Fit and finish is good for a beginner model. Beautiful horn that my child is proud of. Nice, sturdy case. Only thing I didn't think to order was a name tag for the handle, which was a school requirement. No problems with the valves or any slides. Would have given this 5 stars if the valve guides were made of a more sturdy material. Even so, this should last for decades under normal use and care. I would absolutely recommend this to others.

This is a really great little horn!! Band director agreed. His only concern was if anything breaks trouble getting parts from China. I'm not too worried. My son used a trumpet from 6th grade thru 12th grade and nothing ever needed repairing.
