I used this for maple sugaring for vacuum on my releaser 1st year I was getting 27 inchs of vacuum on 180 taps then something happened with the springs inside where the vanes are you cant find replacement vanes for this I toggled it and made it work 5 yrs later it still works but only get 21 inchs of vacuum now thinking about getting another one

This is a great pump. I have vacuumed several units with this pump from 5 tons to mini splits. It pulls a vacuum fast. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because you have to be super careful with the oil drain plug. I stripped out my first one of these units by over tightening and it didn't take much to strip out.

this pump is very heavy and when it arrive the red base was already bent and cracked. also it runs very loud and hot. i wouldn't recommend this for ppl have to carry this around on job site. its just too heavy and handle is made out of plastic. for auto shop this might be good choice for the price.
It's still going strong after 3 years, and I haven't even changed the oil yet. Great product for a fair price.

I used this pump in parts with a large chamber to create a vacuum suction to remove the air bubbles outside of the silicone mixture. This pump has easily achieved the 29lbs of mercury that is needed to remove the air from the silicone mixture. It's still going strong after 3 years, and I haven't even changed the oil yet. Great product for a fair price.

Robinair has been a trusted name in ac equipment for decades. This two stage pump provides "drawdown" power you need to get a good system evac fast. I know from experience it should last for years. I had my first Robinair for more than 10 years. If you do ac work regularly buy this pump with confidence.
