Kids love it!
Big Dawg•July 24, 2017
Kids love this Step2 Playful Sand & Water. Kids enjoy playing with the sand and water, and I really like that a cover is included, it keeps the bugs out of the sand so it stays clean. We use the white sand that we purchased here on Amazon, its very nice and fine. When the sand gets wet, it gets very messy, we just leave the sandbox outside for 2 days and it dries back up.
Lots of fun, but also means lots of sand entering the house which can be annoying.

A Huge Hit!

It takes a little bit of elbow grease to screw the screws in if you don't have an electric drill. Other than that it is pretty simple to put together and my son absolutely loved it. With the sand and the water, the table is pretty sturdy. I love the umbrella; however, if you plan on putting the top on after each use, you may not want to use the little clamp that you screw on the bottom of the Umbrella.I found that the most annoying thing about this table.
My 3 year old played for close to an hour before I realized that you had to dampen the sand; but afterwards, he was able to mold the sand into different shapes and he had a ball.
I would recommend this to anyone.

My 4 yr old loves it!

I bought this for my little guy's 4th birthday and he absolutely loves it! He plays in it for hours and gets mad when he has to go inside. The assembly was fairly simple. The only thing I am not fond of is that you have to go underneath to secure the umbrella. It is a pain since the play box is short. Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase!
Great Little Sandbox!

I bought this sandbox for my 17 mos old grandson for Valentine's Day. He lives in Florida where he'll get ample use of this product. I really like this item because it can be used with water or sand, it's just the right height for a little one, and there is an umbrella for shade and protection from the sun. It even comes with a pretty sturdy cover to protect sand & little toys. My little one loves playing with it - inside & out! I highly recommend this for anyone with small children.
Perfect water table!

After reading lots of reviews & online research I chose this water table for my 19m old.
Maybe one day we will try sand but that just seems like a messy idea. So we just do water and bubbles and it's lots of fun giving our Mickey figurines "baths & showers"!
I went with this style bc the size is a rectangle and perfect for more than kid to play at without bumping elbows plus it comes with an umbrella for shade! I also love the cover for when not in use to keep dirt n bugs out and hide her toys.
I followed some reviewers advice and plugged the tiny holes that are on the legs with some high bond adhesive glue before putting the little rubber caps on bc ppl said it leaked if you didn't. Also you need an electric drill to drill the screws through the plastic and create your own thread. It took me like 30 min to put together with a drill so without one would be silly waste of time & effort.
