I don't use these often (mostly for holding quilt binding), but when I do need them, they come in very handy. They hold securely, until I'm ready to remove them. They are flat on the back, which makes it easy to run a seam with the sewing machine.

These made self hemming a breeze! I'm new to to sewing and most of my projects will be alterations for myself. I have not go the hang of pinning and chalking too long pant hems yet, but 5 minutes after opening and using these I realized I would not have to rely on that any longer. I also feel good about storing my clipped-hem clothing without pins falling out and misplacing my work or pins getting lost and hurting me in the future. I cannot speak on sewing around these yet, but they are really good for doing your measurements when you don't have anyone to help you. Pins are tedious and you can hurt yourself.

I just came across these little clips by chance, and so glad I did. I use them in card making to hold this together temporally of while glue drying. I also love them for sewing. It's nice not to have pins stab you while sewing .
